I haven't seen that discussed - but good point....mine is not checked, i just think the trickle charge back to the dock is steady because it isn't truly asleep when docked.

Quick question for anyone that might know - I can download off of Utorrent on my PC - and the same item on Atorrent on the ASUS. I can get high speeds on the PC (lets say 500k to 1 meg per sec), but not as high on the Atorrent program (under 100k/sec) on the ASUS. Does anyone have a solution...

And the second part of the question was - I can go kill those processes, and they restart right away - which I thought meant something is running in the background - however minuscule it is... I was hoping to control that.

OK Thank you. I am not sure I want to uninstall Google across the board - but, if the offending app is writing itself into the startup sequence (like Music/Facebook/Dolphin Browser HD) - and even though it is just not taking up memory - it seems like my cold boot process is taking more time...
