With files that size it shouldn't be a problem but you didn't say what the error is. I also think you might want to do a hard reset, that's the one that will not lose data.

Rather than spinning your wheels trying to figure out what app may be causing the problem see if installing Auto Airplane Mode, (by DON) from the Google Store solves the problem.

Hard resets, (not factory resets) are very under rated. I have a customer with a TF who does a hard reset every week. And his TF runs like a top so I;m not going to bother telling him it isn't necessary that often. I do one once a month.

I would think the first thing to consider is a hard reset. From powered off hold the volume key down then the power button until you see the white type upper left then let go of both and wait for a restart. Another thing to look at is if you have a case that could be blocking the sensor. One...

I'm not certain if what you called it was supposed to be generic but if your TF is up-to-date, there is no contact app any longer. It's called People. Just checking/asking.

Did you know that Apple is offering EVERY iPad 3rd gen owner in Australia a refund. Seems their 4G isn't 4G down under.

Try Auto Airplane Mode (by DON) from the store. Automatically halts WiFi on screen blank. 1%-2% loss over night. Almost as good as turning the TF off.

You could try a hard reset and if that doesn't work a factory reset.

Back on topic, I support 7 Primes and 6 TF101s and none are having any problems. But I have my own little tricks to keep them running well. All are at least 80% for business productivity which does make a difference.
