Of course REMOVABLE. I'm on my second battery for my note 3.... this one has become kinda Ew too in terms of charge time. It's got all functions I need, but if I were to buy a new one I'd really want one with removable. Wishing the S8 had removable... Like smvim said. Planned obsolescence...
