At first I tried during daytime but it doesn't work. So I waited till night time and tried, and it works, try it.

Maybe you can try during night time when it is really quiet.

The moto voice version is 4.3.14.1 I trained it at 2~3am. Have to say a few times for each pass(total of 3 passes) and then voila. "Ok, moto x" is working.

The alarm is working for me, just that few months ago, when I use voice command to set the alarm, google now will say, "Setting alarm at XX am/pm", so I don't need to look at the screen. One month ago, there is no voice read back, so I have to look at the screen to see that the alarm is set...

Just upgraded to 4.4.4 yesterday. The battery percentage drops slower than before and the Android OS which normally consumes about 20-40% of the usage now becomes 4-6%. Overall the battery seems to be more lasting.
