Thank you D13Hetc You've helped me clarify my thoughts....I am going to opt for the p10+. Still photography is my main interest in the camera and I've been so happy with the p9 and love the camera controls and I prefer the form factor over the U11 and am used to some of the Huawei features.

Thank you all. It's such a hard call, my beloved p10 is on it's last legs but my carrier offers only the p10 not the p10 plus (which has a wider apeture lens altho the difference in real world may be minimal from the p10 but I'd also like the size jump) but does offer the U11..... I'm guessing...

I am caught between this and the Huawei p10/p10 plus. I have a p9, I love it but the battery is shot and it's lagging badly. I love the p9's 'bokeh' or 'wide apeture' photo mode. Is there anything similar on the U11. Any other views on picking this phone over the P10? I just went to a phone...

Enjoy! The camera takes a little getting used to to figure and get good results but is worth the effort IMHO.

Yay! You'll get used to the size... Easier one handed, more pocketable etc. Totally agree re S7E "disney" style UI and I too didn't get on with the camera. Tiny Huawei things I like... Knuckle tap for screenshot, mini icons in colour for notifications on the bar, slide down fingerprint...

I love mine. I didn't like my Sammy S7E so some it on and came to the p9 after my Sony Z3c died, I have just tried a Moto Z but missed the camera options from the p9 and didn't like the finger print scanner or the size of it. My only gripe is no fast charger available....at least in the UK...

Ooh... Questions... In reply... I don't apply an icon pack to nova I manually set the icons for each item (long press icon >edit>select icon from whatever pack I fancy). Circle Launcher... I place the CL shortcut (one of the CL options under widgets) on my home screen, set it up then change...

I use nova, have one home screen with my frequent apps - I've used Nox icon pack for the icons in the dock and 3ksr black for the 'buttons' that launch phone, hangouts, messenger and circle launcher.
