I have both the tab s2 8 and 9.7. The 8 charges much faster.

I'm still on 4.4 and it suits me fine as I've not heard one single good reason why I would want to "upgrade" to 5 and risk running into a bunch of bugs.

Same here, ET. I'll stick with 4 for now. If it ain't broke don't fix it. I don't see any great reviews for the 5's, but I do see some bad ones - reduced battery life, etc.

Some Staples stores are selling the N7 2013 at half price, only $128 for the 32 model (see the N7 forum). I think you'd be better off with that than the overpriced lemon N9, even it it came in purple or shocking pink.

The extra memory probably costs the manufacturer about a dollar. Big profit add-on.
