Hi. I found out that it is the noise cancel that is interfering with my phone and producing static. When I turn it on, there is static and none when It is off. Now that I know the problem I just don't know a solution.. I emailed LG support about it so lets see what they say.

Alright I just figured out whats going on. The noise cancel on my bose is interfering somehow and causing the unwanted noise. Once I turn off the noise cancel, the sound is normal. Would be nice if anybody else with the LG G5 and noise cancelling headphones can test this and report what they are...

Hi thanks for the reply. My headphone is completely plugged in so I dont think that is my problem. So I just tried it with regular apple headphones and there is no static/noise at all. Yet my Bose works perfectly on my laptop..

When I use my headphones on my LG G5 there is very obvious hissing/static noise on the left side especially when there is heavy bass. Is anyone experiencing the same issue? I am using Bose QC25. Thanks for any help.
