Thank you for the advice, it seems to be working now.

What do you mean with "recovery"? Wouldn't a factory reset mean that I lose all my settings/data, I'm not sure how to do this.

I have tried this but it doesnt work for me. The screen still goes black when I try to add a widget or alter my homescreen. This also happens in SafeMode. I have also tried to disable thel double-tab function but it doesn't seem to make a difference. Lg g7 thinQ Android ver.10 No 3rd party...
