To update after root follow the following steps: 1. Go to backup and reset on your S4. The phone will reboot back to stock. 2. Use ODIN to flash the stock recovery for your S4. After it flashes and reboots the device modified message will not appear and you can then update without a problem.

If U can do a hard reset and get to download mode U can then use ODIN to flash a stock recovery for your phone.

U must d/l a stock recovery for your file and use ODIN to flash back to the stock recovery.

To delete a contact simply press and hold on the contact you wish to delete and a menu will pop up that allows you to delete.

Or just long press on number for options to handle number, i.e. block or add to reject list.

Use the MyFiles app on the phone and it will show both the SD Card and Device Storage. Long press the file you want to move and it will give you the option to move. Select the storage location you want to move and select move here. Voila! You can move files back and forth with this system app.

Use Titanium Backup to backup files prior to factory reset. Afterwards use TB to restore. You must be rooted. Alternatively, you can use another free backup and restore file free from the Play Store if you are not rooted.

If you prefer the old Google Navigation rather than the updated Maps app that includes the Navigation all that is necessary is to go to the Play Store and search for Google Maps. When you locate it click uninstall and you will be prompted whether you want to uninstall all updates to the app...

Thanks for your help. No problem, the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is a great tablet even without root. I have upgraded to ICS. I mainly wanted root for programs like Titanium BU and Adfree Android and to possibly run some custom ROMs.

The CWM loops back to install zip from internal. When I attempt to install from external card I get nowhere except the constant loops. When I attempted to install the Root.zip file without CWM it won't install because of signature verification error message. When I disabled signature...

CWM installed with no problem, however, could not get root.zip installed via the temporary CWM. I have tried everything to root this &*#@ tablet to no avail. I guess I am stuck like chuck. Still willing to try something else if there are suggestions.
