Getting: Unfortunately, Gear2 Plugin has stopped after recent Lollipop update. Also I have my gear 2 neo paired with my Nexus 5. It actually still gets notifications sort of but I can no longer get into the gear manager. Any attempts get an immediate crash. I have no idea what to do.

I just got both of these yesterday and for the most part, I have the watch synced with my phone. However, I can't figure out if or how I can install Samsung applications just for my watch. Is it not possible since I have a Nexus phone or will I need a Samsung phone to do it?
