What's the protocol?

Setting up mine and my husband's Galaxy S8's his phone will connect to our home Wi-Fi no problem... mine on the other hand keeps telling me that the password is wrong... I've unplugged the router, reset it, restarted my phone and just did a system update, still nothing. It connects just fine...
