    Ice cream sandwich.....is availiable?

ICS is available in a few different flavors over at xda developers. Not what I'd call mature ROMs by any stretch, and most have their bugs, but you can download a ROM and flash it. That'll be the only way you see ICS on the G2x...don't look to LG or T-Mobile.

    ics for lg g2x wow

No biggie, we weren't getting ICS from LG or T-Mobile anyway.

    g2x : end of life

It means that you still won't get ICS from anyone but the Devs.

Issues with buying a used G2x?

Make sure it's got Gingerbread on it, or leave it alone.

    Ice cream sandwich.....is availiable?

I haven't been paying much attention to the development phase. I figure it'll happen when it happens. I can wait.

    Ice cream sandwich.....is availiable?

Get a G2x with stock Froyo on the old baseband, You won't be worried about any kind of IQ concerning the phone...

New sim card, problems with Wifi calling

"very soon" is likely to be several months, not anytime soon. This is assuming we get Ice Cream Sandwich at all. You're far more likely to see it coming from G2x developers than from LG/T-Mo.

    G2X worth this price?

I have to agree with rizzman. I'll be extremely surprised if LG doles out ICS anytime in the next year. It'll be easier to get when I can upgrade; to a non-LG phone. Most likely Samsung or HTC. Motorola has already ticked me off by not unlocking the bootloader on their phones after promising...

Cannot connect via USB after GB 2.3.3 install

Not sure what to tell you in that case. Sorry.

Cannot connect via USB after GB 2.3.3 install

Try these drivers. They work for Windows 7. I haven't had any issues connecting the phone since installing them. http://www.mediafire.com/?ospjb7qmgff1a3j

Is The G2x Dead In The Water

My bad, I didn't read the article at androidandme.com closely enough. I still don't think we'll see anything from LG or T-Mobile tho. If your G2x is stock with the OTA, then you're running GB on a Froyo kernel. Basically still a broken phone since GB doesn't make use of a dual core processor...

Is The G2x Dead In The Water

LG has already stated that neither platform will get anymore updates. If we get ICS, it'll be because of the devs, no one else. That said, I'll keep mine till I'm eligible for an update from T-Mobile, then I'll move on to something else from HTC or Samsung. There will be other top-notch...

G2x reported problems (freezing, reboots, GPS issues) - valid?

Re: G2x reported problems (freezing, reboots, GPS issues) - valid I'd say good. It's easy enough to tell, check settings/about phone/baseband and see if it matches. If it does then you're good to go.

Is The G2x Dead In The Water

The phone is more than capable of ICS, but I don't think we'll see anything from LG or T-Mobile concerning ICS except broken promises. If the source for ICS is released (it should be), then we'll have ICS flavored ROMs, but only then. Don't depend on LG or T-Mobile.

G2x reported problems (freezing, reboots, GPS issues) - valid?

Re: G2x reported problems (freezing, reboots, GPS issues) - valid The GB update from LG basically made a new. workable phone out of my G2x. Even with root, the reboots happened 5 to 6 times a day. It made no difference what I was doing, and they happened at random. The GPS was problematic...
