Yeah it happens to me too, but when your charging the phone it's a lot better looking than our old charging screen. Lol That's the absolute only bug with this awesome kernel

I flashed it using CWM and It gave both the kernel and rom a black screen, I don't know if it was a bad download or what. But my phones fixed now so it's fine.

How did you get it to work? I got a black screen EDIT: Upon installing this I'm going to have to use the KDZ flasher or something as I can't access recovery and the kernel is dead.

Here is the solution. Right click My Computer and select properties. Goto device manager. And locate MTP USB Device. Right click and choose select update driver. Select 'browse my computer for drivers' and then choose "Let me pick drivers to install". You will get two options select the USB...

It works! No blackscreen bug, No shutdown bug, runs amazing, and everything is perfect! Also, I think it's a bug with the actual p500 rom, although its not even a big bug, the second boot screen after the lg logo is just a blank screen. Then it shows the new cyanogen mod mascot. LG Logo>Blank...

No, when you shut down your phone, in order to not get the black screen and shut down bug, you must clear dalvik cache and cache. Then it will boot fine. When installing you clear everything.

No, don't clear everything. ONLY clear the dalvik cache and cache. Then try starting it, it'll get past the power off.

You have to clear the cache and dalvik cache via cwm
