You can flash ANY roms you want, as long as you have a nandroid backup. You'll be fine doing basically whatever you want to the phone just as long as you backed it all up.

I agree. I tried to exchange mine at best buy and they wouldn't take it back no matter what. I actually had to call virgin mobile and they are sending me a replacement in 1-3 days. Oh, the replacements are used/refurbished phones by the way.
