    Graphics issue after Kernel change

So I've been running Paranoid Android 2.54 without issue for awhile now. I recently decided to use the M-Kernel Plus a11 and games have worked great, all but Need For Speed Most Wanted. Its blurry all around the outer edges of the screen, like a speed effect when using nitrous or something...

    Volume buttons not dismissing alarm

Ok I think I found the issue. Under 'settings' and 'display' there's a setting 'volume rocker wake'. That seems to have fixed the problem. I guess that's checked by default on the stock nexus, and not on the PA rom. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Android Central Forums

    Have you Rooted,if not Why?

I didn't have any desire to root mine until recently. I was getting tired of the notification bar on the top the the home/back/recent apps at the bottom. Wasted space having two bars IMO. Other than that, I was pleased with how it ran. I was a little nervous getting into the system to unlock...

    ROM installed fine...Kernel did not

I like the PA rom, I just want some overclocking abilities. I may try Franco out.

    ROM installed fine...Kernel did not

I reflashed the ROM and it's working fine for now. When I flashed the kernel I did it from within clockwork mod recovery after running the new ROM for a few a minutes. I never used ROM Manager. Maybe I'll try a different kernel and see how that acts.

    ROM installed fine...Kernel did not

I'm new to anrdoid. The Nexus 7 is my first such device. I've successfully unlocked, rooted, and installed clockwork mod recovery without any issues (thanks to the wonderful guides on this forum). I then installed Paranoid Android, and all was well. Booted and ran great. So then I installed...
