Just ordered the Google Charger - Think the hubby is going to hold it as a Christmas present but that's okay. Least I know I have it here waiting for me :)

I'm in the market for one if not two of these myself. I've got my eye on the Zens if the price drops around the holidays - I like the size of the pad for charging my tablet. I do like the LG puck charger but for near $50 I'm really waiting to see what the official from Google looks like.

Yes, I did this and It appears to be working now for the SMS. I appreciate the help. I didn't choose anything for the other apps and they worked fine so this is why I was troubled. Again thanks for the help :)

Why shouldn't the LED clear when I've read the text message? The LED clears when I read an email. So I think this is a Lightflow issue working with the integrated hangouts and SMS ?

Yes I'm having trouble with after I get a message the light won't clear - you have to go in and close down the app to get it to turn off. I've never used LightFlow before as I'm coming from a Galaxy S2 that didn't have a notification light. Didn't know if I needed to use any special settings.

Re: Headphones for nexus 5 I have a pair of Noontec Zoro HD's and love them :) they do make earbuds if that's your thing but I don't have those.

Yeah, not for the same reason but I do get what you are saying about discomfort. I got mine today and it's not as comfortable for me as my Galaxy S2 was. Gonna sound stupid but it just feels hard ? No other way to say that. Like the phone has no give to it... I don't know. It gets uncomfortable...
