It says that it will replace this app with the factory version. All data will be removed. Shall I still do it?

I have done this, still having this problem. Do I need to uninstall Chrome and re-install it or do I need to factory reset my tablet, or is it just too old to keep up with the current software?

I did, nothing. When I try to open the app in the play store, it pops up that chrome has stopped with the options of restart app or send feedback.

My Samsung Tab E Version 8.5 began giving me pop ups yesterday that say (ie - Chrome has stopped. You can restart app or send feedback) neither of which works. Effects my kids game playing. I have been told this is a Google problem not a Samsung problem. Help please.
