NOPE. I got marshmallow (finally) tonight and the problem still persists. Samsungs are total crap.

Update: it started happening again, despite having lots of RAM available. I was missing calls because it would not wake up. I read on another forum that issues with pressing the home button can be fixed by uninstalling the updates for the Google app. That's what I did this morning. It's working...
