Is the cell reception any better? I also have a 3XL but I came from a Motorola phone and got much better coverage with that. I'm toying with the idea of trading my Z Play in for the $450 and getting the 4XL.

Is it necessary to do a system reboot and clear the cache after install? My previous phones were Motorola Plays and that was the standard procedure after a major systems update.

Is there an app that allows you to take a ringtone and save it as a lower decibel sound? My kids can be watching a video on my phone at high volume and you can barely hear it, when the notification tone goes off you can hear it three rooms away.

I just purchased. Under the device agreement from Verizon it showed the $400 as a device down payment. You can put it in your car and verify this before submitting payment. It's the last check box you have to select before hitting submit payment.

Quick question. Unless Verizon drops some sort of incredible deal, I'll probably pick up a 3xl. When I'm on Google's site, I should get the unlocked one, correct? There's no point to get the Verizon one from Google, is there? Wasn't sure if I was missing something here...

I have it set to only display my Google contacts. I even tried to "customize" contacts and removed the contacts I didn't want shown and it still shows up. I guess I can delete the email account, and reinstall it making sure contacts isn't checked, but I did that originally, and I'm not sure...

I did this. There were two or three phone options, I cleared them all and they are still there. They were not there before, I don't know why they just recently reappeared.
