They aren't refarming the 1700 into 1900 frequency, they're converting the 1900 spectrum from 2g service to 3g/4g. So basically unlocked phones that don't have Tmobile's 1700 frequency in it then they'll start to run on 3g/4g once the team has completed. Until that point, those unlocked phones...

I had that happen with mine when I did the update. Is it just with your text messages? If that's the case, you have to go into your inbox, hit menu and then settings. Then under notification settings I found that my vibrate setting had been unchecked. That should fix it! Sent from my SGH-T999...

Re: Sprint just gave me a free GNex (no upgrade or new contract r I wouldn't count on that happening. The OP's situation was pretty unique and certainly not an everyday occurrence (the phone, the order issues, lucking out on three manager, etc).

Customer care/retentions will be your best bet to try and get your upgrade pushed forward, as they have more leeway with discounts and special offers. Good luck!

No offense, but it's a little sad to be excited about 2MB/S download speeds...I feel like the minimum expectation should be better than that.
