Re: Moto X 2014/Lollipop: Worst battery life of any phone I've owned I uninstalled facebook...a LONG TIME ago on a different phone and never touched it again. That solved all of my battery issues. The fb messenger app isn't a battery drain.

there is a dark theme for the keyboard. I was wondering if there is a dark theme for everything else? I'm sure we could squeeze out a bit more battery life with a dark theme and its easier on the eyes at night time.

I held onto my nexus s as long as I could have using cyanogenmod updates. I didn't realize the battery had degraded until I decided to buy a new battery. I squeezed out an extra year of use cause the battery was easily replaced.

just got the ota on my moto x (2014) still nothing on nexus 2013

So I don't get notified of new messages in facebook messenger or hangouts? I have to actually open the app and then I wait a few seconds then it updates and I can view the new messages I'm not sure if this is for all apps but I noticed today that this was the case when people said I wasn't...

honestly imo unless you're super picky all screen protectors are pretty similar. the installation is VERY important. I tried zagg, ghost armor, skinomi, all kinds of brands that I installed myself and none were very good. Now...I just go to the ghost armor stand at the mall and they install it...
