I found something that seems to have fixed my issue. From the home screen, I went to my settings. Then selected Data Usage, got to the settings again from there (the bottom left button of the lower three), and select Auto Sync All. I've been getting my emails since then.

I usually try to avoid the forums, because I've seen so many rude behaviors to genuine questions/concerns...but I'm stuck. Ever since the update, my emails won't update anymore, and I don't receive new message notifications. I've uninstalled the yahoo email account, and reinstalled twice...
