Thanks. Turns out there was an easy fix, but not one anyone could have done on their own. Mobile Stream released a new version of EasyTether that apparently uses the latest ADB libraries and that solved that problem. Thanks, Beo

Of course. Otherwise I wouldn't be getting the USB debugging prompt at all and EasyTether wouldn't work. That's not the issue. The funny thing is that the developer menu has an option for CLEARING the remembered keys, which apparently does nothing since it doesn't remember them! Beo
