I really hope this means that Android devices (other than the Kindle Fire) will be getting an Amazon Video app soon.

Amazon Instant Video iPad app now available, iPhone and iPod Touch still left wanting -- Engadget Hopefully this means an app is on the way for Android and the Nexus 7.

I like Pocket Casts (only $3) and all of the functionality that BeyondPod (paid version) has for a nicer price.

This is true. I'm sure Amazon enjoys making money from people buying apps from them instead of the Play Store (and other sources), for example.

Yea, I can understand that argument, except they offer their other services for Android (like Kindle ebooks and their music player). Besides, isn't Amazon actually losing a little money on each Kindle Fire sold? The point of the KF is to have a device to increase sale of their digital goods...

I got it working by side-loading Flash and using Firefox Beta. I don't understand why Amazon won't just release an Android app (beyond the Kindle Fire) when they are going to great lengths to make their video service available on a bunch of other devices (PS3, Roku, etc).

Bought Final Fantasy 3, looking forward to many hours of playing :)
