You were right on target hallux! I've looked at my quick setting panel and the NFC and S Beam buttons were checked on. I've turned off the NFC button (which also turned off the S Beam) and the "unknown" status icon has disapeared! And now, I feel relieved and dumb... o_O ; ) Thanks a lot...
