My S5 was turning on in my pocket, launching apps, etc. Plugging and unplugging headphones (which I never use, as I wear Bluetooth hearing aids) solved the issue. I wondered if I would need to plug in earphones every time the phone booted, but it appears not. Thanks for this solution!!:cool::cool:

Good question, B.Diddy. As it turns out, both Play Store and App Manager show only "Disable" or "Stop" for the unwanted Apps. No "Uninstall" shows...
