I use Rocket Player on both my phone and N7. I like just about everything about it. The one frustrating thing is that it forgets playlists I create if I haven't played said playlist in a while. Other than that, it's a great free player.

That sucks, man. It would've been nice if Asus had built these without adhering the LCD screen to the display glass, make them a bit more reparable. One of very few cons to this device.

Have they since changed the serial format? My second N7 (first one would not start) has a serial that begins CCO. It's been 100% perfect out of the box.

My Samsung with CM 10.1 will tether using WiFi from the settings menu. No additional software needed; works great with my WiFi only Nexus 7. In the settings menu, under Wireless & Networks, select More... In that menu is the tethering and portable hotspot options.

This seems to be a very common problem with these tabs; when my first Nexus 7 came DOA from newegg, it was the first thing I tried (to no avail). I found that the easiest way to get the case open was to use a guitar pick and slide it in between the case and the frame. Came open nicely.

I'm sure it's been said, but it's gotta be the lack of micro SD expansion. The rest of the issues I could live with.

Second time was the charm. My RMA replacement was perfect.

Hey everyone New here. Thought I'd introduce myself. I just received my N7 from newegg, 32GB model. Plugged in, powered on, no graphics. Backlight lit up, but didn't boot into the OS, nothing. Replacement hopefully within a week.
