Just remember all that you can always use flahtool to flash a generic FW to your device. I have not waited for the carrier version in AUS - flashed over the Telstra version. No root req and does not Posted via the Android Central App

Another easy way is when you see a notification on the lock screen.... Long press it and hit the "I" and you will be taken to that app's notification settings.... Saves you trawling through your list of apps to remember the one app you wanted to change. Posted via the Android Central App

Small correction - Root does not void warranty... Unlocking boot loader voids warranty... But rooting by itself does not. To get root without unlocking boot loader is a bit of a process but it can be done.

Not sure you can do anything about this unless you turn off notifications for those apps ... Which will then mean you won't get them at any time..

Most (all??) The 6603 FW have been released for unlocked retail versions... If you have a carrier branded one, many of those are not updated yet due to carriers..
