Re: Getting a lot of screen redraws when unlocking the phone. By redraw do you mean it goes back to a black screen? If so move your hand from the sensor on top. My phone was auto turning itself off when I would go to unlock it and it was because I had my fingers near the sensor.

You're making a good choice. As far as battery life I work 10am to 9pm and I'm streaming Pandora 75% of the time on breaks I'm on fb or tapatalk and when I get home I've still got 40-50% battery life.
