I just restarted my phone and it's allowed me to use Google pay again

I used my Google pay about 2pm it worked fine by 3pm it wasn't and been in touch with Google support,they could only say they need to have my phone back and they will send a replacement. I have a Google pixel 6 pro and they expect me to have no phone for 10 days.It was a no from me for that...
