    Can you call out in safe mode? Unfamiliar with safe mode. Mums phone has been rebooted but not sure about dad's but he said he does it after updating his apps. Seems mums phone has been rebooted I guess just need to wait for dad to call mum again.

    Yeah he's clear when he calls me. Also clear when he phones my Uncle & Brother. When I phone mum she can hear me crystal clear so no idea why she can't hear dad.

    Yeah it's only when dad calls mum. All other calls are clear.

    When my dad phones mum she can't hear him clearly on her Honor Magic 6 pro. We have looked through all the call settings & everything seems ok & we cleaned the ear piece too. Is there anything else that needs to be enabled or disabled to make the call quality crystal clear?

    I downloaded the forums app too but couldn't get past the log In screen for some reason so deleted it. Still got the original app where the forums work 100% fine so will use that for forums.

    Well I'm upgrading next week sometime so won't be using this phone much longer. But thank you for the information.

    Yes everything is backed up constantly.

    The lines where a bit strange today as soon as they appeared a few minutes later they disappeared. Saw the right & left side meeting in the middle before disappearing.

    Here is one of the lines which only started to appear on Easter day. Normally the lines are horizontal which I'll still try to catch a picture of. The lines today have been coming & going when I was sat in a hot car.

    The phone still works perfectly fine when I scroll where the lines are & pressing them does nothing.

    Thank you that's a good idea to back everything up & I will press the edges of the screen where the lines appear too.

    Will the phone last or screen last for a few more weeks as I can upgrade on April 25th?

    Didn't appear in safe mode but normally turning the phone off & on again fixes it for a little while. Thinking it maybe a hardware issue coz someone else has a white line flash across there screen but has an Oppo not Huawei.

    Not tried safe mode but will have to see next time I'm out & phone is warm/hot. Don't think it's burn in as it would be there all the time & it's not.
