Does the flicker typically happen on white screens, especially while data is being used? If so, this sounds a lot like the screen flicker that was present on many Nexus 7 tablets. It should be covered under warranty.

It would come with the phone if you ordered it from Sprint's store, but not if you order it from Google Play.
