Yes, the Aug 16th update fixed the black screen for me and Cracle works fine in my S3 now.

    Data Speeds God Awful

You seem to be hypersensitive there Gator352. It didn't sound like he was bashing Sprint at all. Verizon just has a lot more towers out there than Sprint does. That's simply a fact. Where I live the Sprint coverage is great, but if I lived an hour away where my folks are, I'd be on Verizon...

    Quickie-Question regarding Icons and Notifications

I like the stock notifications. You only have one place to looks to see all the notifications, the top letft, instead of scanning every icon for every app. Bleh.

I just did the latest system update this morning. Now when charging the phone, the LED stays red and never turns green, no matter how long I'm at 100%. Anyone else seeing this? I like the new brightness bar in the settings menu, but I wonder what else got broken with the update.

Android from a webOS Perspective - Smartphone Round Robin Contest Thread

I think WebOS needs to have the variety of form factors Android is available in. I have friends that will ONLY buy horizontal sliders, or ONLY buy tablets formats and want a virtual keyboard, not the thicker phone a physical keyboard requires. I love my Pre, but a lot of folks won't even...
