Yes I talked to BB and asked them the same question, and I asked a knowledgeable rep there. The guy told me your place in queue doesn't matter, they fill the preorders on a first come first serve basis, there are no appointments, they just cant sell the phones to customers who did not preorder...

I feel weird about my preorder at BB. I work until evening and I'm afraid they won't get enough stock to cover the preorders and I won't get my TB tomorrow. If they only get four phones, there are five preorders, and the other four customers got there phones earlier than me, I'm out of luck...
