Have a 2nd hand Galaxy S7. About Device, the entry below Software info says United Arab Emirates. The device is not interested in any South African SIM. I can root the device. Is there a way to make it work? Thanks.

I get lots of texts from a service which has 8 numbers, depending on which sub-service is sending the text. I have named all of these numbers the same. My Contacts has all 8 numbers listed individually. I should be able to merge them, but Settings -> Merge duplicate contacts doesn't do it. Says...

The new phone will be an LG G3 S (Beat), which uses a different sized SIM card. What is the best way to copy my contacts to the new phone.
