Yeah i reset the phone a few times....i have also tried fixing the permissions....as well as going into the settings menu and enabling wi-fi that way as well...maybe ill redo the initial setup a little later on...thanks again dude! ahh well not really a big deal. but thanks for the advice though.

Yep that did it....it works fine now....had to uninstall it and reinstall it...odd tho never had to do that before... Ok one problem down, one to go...Wi-fi still doesnt work. It scans but wont connect. even to an unsecured wireless connection. any thoughts you may have would be most welcome...

Just tried....no luck. and i have the most to date Wireless Tether app from the market. really odd to be honest never had an issue before. gonna try uninstalling it and then reinstalling it....

Yeah im also having an issue with both Wi-Fi and W-fi tethering....Im using "wireless Tether"...it worked fine when i was using Skyraider...it keeps asking me if im Rooted.. And Wi-fi doesnt work at all
