Why is my OTA 5.0.1 update failing to install?

Re: OTA 5.0.1 update fails to install Lollipop updates differently and checks to see if any modification has been done as rooting the phone, if so, the OTA update will fail. Your choices are to unroot or to flash the factory image.

Lollipop on Nexus 5 Not Running Well

I did a factory flash instead of OTA and thus didn't need to do a factory reset and after three weeks, all is well, but if you DO an OTA update, I recommend a factory reset from all that I have read on various online forums around the net, if you wish to have your phone run smoothly.

    Battery drain after lollipop update...

My battery stabilized after a couple of days, I let my battery drain down all the way before plugging in the phone and doing a full charge before using the phone again. Did this twice to stabilize the battery and now I am getting a full days use. Posted via my Nexus 5 with Lollipop
