Seemed like Tasker was the app that did it for me, but I'm not 100% convinced.

My exchange sync works without a hitch. The only issue I've had so far was when I installed the 2.2.260 update. Had to delete and re-add my exchange server and reboot. Of course I'm not sure if the deleting or the rebooting did the trick, so maybe all it needed was a reboot.

Had some wonkiness with my Exchange account but a couple of reboots and deleting and re-adding seems to have fixed the problem.

I didn't bother unrooting and the install took just fine. Had to reroot with Z4 and that was about it. T he only mods I had done was renaming the droid.ogg file to droid.bak and using ADW.launcher instead of the system launcher. Also used the TTF font replacement app to change the system font.
