    If you are in a coastal location (or want to know about a location) I find windguru pretty good, both via the website and the Android App.

    Nexus 7 suddenly unrecognized USB device

    Hmm - I had this problem with other devices - advice was to disconnect PC from Mains and leave for a while - worked for me. On a laptop I assume this will mean taking out the laptop battery? Worth a try!

    This has been discussed a few times on Expat Focus, with no clear conclusion - might be worth a try then we could use BBC IPlayer too...!! Regards Robin

    Some of us are in currently blocked locations - Portugal is one - can't download "content" from Amazon (UK) or Google Play - apps ok from the latter. At least it's sunny and the wine & beer are cheap!
