Xenozu is great for watching YouTube videos. It's a bit limited - you can't sign in to YouTube and see your subscriptions etc so you have to serach for what you want - but subject to that limitation it works well. Doesn't half drain the battery though! Also Five Tiles SMS makes quick typing...

I realise this thread is 6 months old and you've doubtless made your decision, but just in case anyone else has the same question. From the fact that you're thinking of making this switch, I guess S-Pen and multi-window aren't important to you? If so, why not just put Cyanogenmod onto the Note...

Be careful which launcher though. Many are not optimised for tablets rather than phones. I'm using the SM-P900 UK version and so far I've discovered that ADW and Nova work fine. Apex doesn't - widgets just don't work - and neither does Buzz - it stays in portrait no matter what you do with...
