Are you connected to Wi-Fi? Play might be set to only download/update apps when you're connected to a Wi-Fi network.

Weird. I'm on T-Mo, and the setting is under Phone -> More -> Settings.

There's a specific setting for VoLTE in the phone app options.

My experience is similar to aggie's. Overnight (about 9.5 hrs) drain was 5%. Wi-Fi/Location/Sync was on, Wi-Fi Calling/VOLTE were off. Drain during actual use seems acceptable; it's significantly better than my 2-year-old S4 (w/original battery) which spends most of the time hooked to a charger.

Must be something weird going on with the battery life for some folks. My non-edge S6 just burned 5% juice (62% to 57%) in a bit over 9 hours on standby from last night until this morning. VOLTE and Wi-Fi calling were off, but Wi-Fi, location services, and sync (just Gmail for me) were on.

I can only compare it to my S4, but it seems better. On a hiking trail I use frequently, my S4 got two bars and no internet. With the S6, I'm getting four bars and LTE.

64GB seemed like it would be enough for me, so that's what I bought (non-edge). I barely broke 60% capacity on my old S4 with 16+32GB.

This is the type of case I was looking for, thanks! I wish it could be had domestically (USA) to avoid the lengthy shipping time, but I guess I'll just have to order and wait. Unless someone else reveals something similar before I get the chance to place the order, of course!

Any suggestions for a non-slim bumper-only case for the S6? I love the black sapphire finish, but even a clear case kind of ruins it. None of the bumper cases I've been able to locate so far look like they'd be any help at all if I should happen to drop or place the phone on any surface that's...
