Class 10, but the phone also reads the class 4 32GB card that was in my Droid 2 Global, which was never formatted. (I doubt the D2G was reading all 32GB.)

... for at least last 12 hours. Since cellphone app can't reach the server, no access to one's lists. Not confidence-inspiring.

Am happy to report the 32GB SanDisk card was instantly recognized upon insertion. No formatting was necessary.

The 2G did yeoman's service. I never carried a charger, only a slim extra battery. With the RAZR M, the big leap is in processor speed and the Verizon 4G LTE speed. I was able to carry over my unlimited data plan to the new phone.

Many thanks. I suspected as much, but the new user interface (I'm migrating from a Droid 2 Global) is disorienting at first. Then again, at age 65 what isn't disorienting, eh?

Indeed I did. Fat fingers are not yet used to this new keyboard display. Will report. The card is a Class 10. As long as I'm here, the out-of-the-box settings had an icon for "Tools" in the bottom, fixed row of shortcuts. I accidentally deleted it (somehow), and it seems to be irretrievable...

I'll be installing a 42GB SanDisk card tomorrow in my 1-day old RAZR M. Verizon tech support advised me just to pop it in and don't worry about formatting.

Don't sweat it. It wouldn't be fun without a little uncertainty/voodoo/romance. Verizon tech support can always talk me through it.

Does a 32GB card need to be formatted (presumably on a PC) before it is used on the phone? My Razr M arrives Monday, along with a SanDisk card, and I'd like to be fully prepared for the set-up. Thanks.

Smooth Calendar. Wouldn't use any other. Syncs w/ Google Calendar seamlessly.

Have we seen anything even suggesting a Droid 4 is under development? Isn't it possible the Droid 3 is the end of that model line and that any LTE 4G phones in the future will not follow the Droid's general form factor and slider arrangement? Mind you, I have a Droid 2 Global and love it; a 4G...

Re: The Bionic and VZW FAQ Verizon has dropped the retailers with which it had a contract and has signed up with Radio Shack. I stopped into a Radio Shack outlet in downtown Cleveland OH this afternoon and asked if they would have Verizon phones on the floor sometime in the future. Instant...
