Looks like an hardware issue? Some time ago i accidentally dropped my BlackBerry Z10 and i had the same problem (i broke the optical stabilization)

My nexus 5x, in developer options (hidden menu which must be unlocked), has an option "use a colder white point" (my phone is not in English, don't know the exact translation), and if i enable, the screen white becomes much less yellow. Maybe also the s7 has an option like that?

Ingenious! Great idea! But, if someone doesn't have this app the text is unreadable? What if don't use the main sms app but use something like handcent sms with notification popups?
