O.K., that works and is almost as easy as using the up-and-down volume buttons on the phone. But what I've just realized is that those buttons are completely dead...I also now can't use them to adjust the volume level of the ringer. Yikes. Is there an easy alternative way to adjust the volume...

Actually if I go into the "Sounds" setting, click on "Volume" and then slide the Ringtone bar to zero, it mutes the ringer. But I want to be able to do this simply by pushing the down button on the left side of the phone (as I always have). Pretty cumbersome to have to go through the settings...

My Galaxy S8+ has started ringing even when I have the ringer on vibrate or off (this has never happened before). I use the adjustment buttons at the top on the left side of the phone to adjust the volume or turn it off. Any suggestions? Thanks!
