Totally agree. Have had Iphone for 7 years - never tried anything else. But this S6 finally looked like an android phone that would suit me - and boy i am loving it!

Like it the way it is. And I do understand why Samsung wants to do something different than rest of the android phones.

I am also new to android and samsung, but i've found that the location service is draining battery quite a bit. Try and disable that - unless you really need it enabled off course.
