I've got the same problem... even after several firmware updates... Asus Zenfone 2 still stuck at Android ver. 5.0 Horrible performance. Battery drains from Flashlight and Amazon APP - both using camera sensor for several hours. when deleting both the ANDROID OS starts hogging the battery...
