Please let a newbie ask one more time for clarification... if I have downloaded a ROM .zip file, flashed it, and subsequently made a Nandroid backup of that ROM, do I really need to keep that .zip file on the SD card? Especially if I've since upgraded to subsequent versions of that ROM and have...

Thanks so much! I was seriously missing some of the apps, such as Business Calendar (way better than stock) and Fancy Widgets Pro. The thought of losing all these apps was the only thing making me sorry I'd rooted and flashed Das BAMF 1.62 Remix. Now it's all good.

Question: I had a number of "Free Apps of the Day" that I lost when I wiped my data to root. These apps still show in the My Apps list in the Amazon App Store with a link for downloading. If I do download them now, will I be charged for them?

Seems to have gone OK. Now running 1.62 remix without having done a data wipe.

I am currently running DB 1.6 base. If I was to flash 1.6 remix, would that require a data wipe? Or can I get away withjust wiping the caches?

Yes, this happens very often for me also. Usually plugging them in again and removing them seems to clear it up.
