    Look for the app "LED Light", it's a LED flashlight app (with a widget). When used, the LED will stay on if you start video recording.

    If your using battery-saving settings, it's most likely because you have the "enable always-on mobile data" setting turned off, I noticed the same issue with Pandora until I turned that setting on.

    Re: Pandora, do you have 'always on mobile data' on or off? When I turned that off (to try improve battery life), I had similar issues with Pandora, but it works perfectly when I turn it back on.

    @aridon, same here. I have a 'naked' EVO and with auto brightness it seems to work well enough in sunlight (certainly a lot better than my DROID)

    Carioca, I use an app called "MotoTorch LED" on my DROID (only 2 more days till I upgrade to an EVO!) that does LED flashllight, strobe light (with delay and duration controls), and morse code (!). It's worked perfectly for me so far (though I don't know morse code so I can't comment on that)...
