I've just ordered the invisible screen protector from Ultimate Shield, I've used this on an S6 edge in the past and it covers the whole screen and fits really well.

I've been on it for a few weeks now on my 5x and have had no issues as yet. It's my work phone so gets heavy usage too.

I can't see it being a problem, just go for it.

There is no reason why you shouldn't be able to do this. I'm now guessing that 2 months down the line, the OP may have figured this out....

I personally feel that the level of bloat is acceptable, especially if compared to Samsung and HTC. I think you'll be happy with it.

I wouldn't say that they are going after iPhone users, it's all down to the fact that nano SIM's are available, and using them will give more space. HTC went nano for the M8 for that very reason.
