    Gingerbread 2.3 data signal issues

    My 3g seems to be a bit faster in some areas. I don't have any better coverage, just seems like 3g on the EVO's end is running more smoothly. I can't get a 4g signal for anything now. I've done a factory reset and all 3 updates too.

    Official Sprint EVO 4G Gingerbread update

    For what it's worth, I spoke with a tech last week at a Sprint corporate store that told me gingerbread should be out for the Evo in about 6 weeks. I wouldn't take it as gospel, so much as a little bit of hope.
